ByAsatruMomon December 18, 2015 - A delicious adventure into a different kind of tea. I love tea but I was kind of nervous about this one. I mean the only mushroom tea I had ever heard of before this was illegible and I heard it didn't taste very good at that. So I looked into it a bit and I can guarantee that this tea is not only legal, but delicious. I chose the Vanilla tea for my little adventure because I love vanilla and I was not disappointed. I use one tea bag to make two large cups of tea without any loss of flavor. I sweeten mine with a little honey, probably out of habit. I am very happy with the quality and flavor of this tea and look forward to trying other flavors.
BySon December 16, 2015 - I never knew about chaga tea until now. I did a little research about chaga and found out that it is a fungi that grows on trees.
Chaga is known for it's high antioxidant and immune system booster!
The cocoa and peppermint chaga tea is not exactly what I had in mind. I was expecting a strong aroma of the peppermint upon opening the can. The tea is actually rather mild and settling. The taste is very pleasant to my tongue and it just feels very nice. I am a daily tea drinker and this tea is great for any occasion. The tea bag doesn't have a string so you just put it in a cup and pour the hot water in.
I like the tea with some milk and drink it warm. I can really taste the peppermint because it is the dominant, while the cocoa is just slightly.
The chaga wild handpicked and harvested. Everything is organic including cocoa shell powder and peppermint powder.
This tea is caffeine free, no MSG, no artificial or any chemicals. It is absolutely simple and delicious! Totally deserve my 5 stars.
Bydeniseon October 20, 2015 - This is the best tea I've ever had! The cacao peppermint flavour is amazing. It's like having a hot chocolate but better! It has a depth of flavor and it great for the winter, flu season!
Byrobertaon December 25, 2015 - I was a little afraid to try this, I have to admit. I love mushrooms, and I love tea, but the two did not sound quite right together, but I love to try new things. It definitely helps that this tea is "nature's most powerful antioxidant". It has over 215 phytonutrients. The tea is said to boost energy, and ease stress. It helps improve skin, hair and nails. Having read about the tea. It also helps with respiratory health and lowering cholesterol.I thought, even if it doesn't taste good, I'd drink it daily just to reap the benefits. Then I tasted it. It was absolutely delicious. It's a strong flavorful tea, that tastes just like regular tea. There's no mushroom flavor. It's tastes very minty and yummy. I was shocked. I really like it. This would make a great unique gift item. It tastes great, and I think people would be surprised at the flavor which is pungent and delicious. The cocoa and peppermint flavor makes it a great holiday tea.
ByLisaMuranoon December 30, 2015 - I have the vanilla Chaga tea and am really enjoying it! I wasn't aware of the antioxidant content or that it strengthens immune defenses before getting this tea but I did some research and learned so much about it! The tea has an interesting yet mild taste, it's sort of woody with a hint of vanilla. The first cup is the strongest, but you can use each tea bag three times. More then that and it starts to taste like water with a hint of flavor....but you do get 3 good cups of tea from each one! I don't notice any energy boost but I did feel less stressed over the holidays so it must be working! Also, it's known to boost the immune system and my whole family has come down with colds and I'm the only one who hasn't yet. I'm also the only one drinking this tea...coincidence? My nails started splitting a few weeks back (from using acetone nail polish remover) and it's just been awful! I have noticed them starting to grow in healthier since drinking this tea. I'm thrilled about this! I really like this tea and can't wait to try the other flavors!
