By Maori on March 1, 2018 - There's a lot of fake and semi-fake stuff in the world of nutritional supplements, this seems to be the real thing. As an added bonus, it's apparently NOT from China.
By Kevin on February 18, 2018 - So far it seems like a very decent supplement. I like the smell and taste of the product. It might be difficult or impossible to definitively say it has improved my health and/or quality of life, but I'm all for reducing free radicals with anti-oxidants. I'm using this powder as an additive to post-workout protein powder drinks. My formula includes the following powders: whey isolate, raw cacao, chlorella, spirulina, moringa, acerola, bilberry, acai. This is my superfood recovery drink.
By Butsch on October 30, 2017 - Really good for my eyes, can actually see better. Will reorder soon.
By denise on December 9, 2015- I can tell this is really good quality because the powder has a thicker consistency and bright, deep color. It's great to add in smoothies or just plain water
By Angela - Health Conscious Mom on December 20, 2015 - Bilberries are very similar to blueberries. In fact, if I ever encountered one in the wild I would just assume they were blueberries. For background - I am a biochemist and I grow almost every berry that can grow in my northern climate (even blueberries). Berries just so happen to be my favorite food and I was thrilled to have the chance to try this bilberry powder. My understanding is that this is broken up freeze dried bilberries.
I can only imagine how many berries it took to fill this can! I added this to smoothies, fruit leather, and to my usual morning yogurt. Blueberries (when dried) are not as tasty as other berries - though in fresh form I consider them to be the best berry, hands down! With that said, the powder did add a hint of flavor and a lot of color to the food I prepared. It also most likely added a ton of vitamins and micronutrients.
If you do not have access to fresh or frozen berries, then I would consider this a good substitute. Otherwise, my best recommendation for this product is an emergency preparedness food or as a source of natural vitamins. I was happy with this and would buy it again
By Jason on December 27, 2015 - I am loving this Bilberry Powder right now! Taste so good and delightful like fresh blueberries. I have been mixing this super food into my smoothies and occasionally sprinkling a teaspoon on my kefir with some bananas. Yum! What a really great way to start my day. Bilberry is very good for eyesight, especially night vision and by helping to regenerate light-sensitive pigments in cells of the retina. Along with improving eye health, Bilberries also help lower blood sugar. The benefits are incredible.
I love the slightly fine crunchy texture of this powder especially when sprinkled over yogurt, I find it really addicting. No bitter taste, just fresh clean berry goodness. This stuff is amazing!
By SUGAR CODER on December 26, 2015 - I used this powder in a cake, and it smells great after I baked it! This is definitely a unique and interesting berry flavor! I never heard about bilberry until I saw this product, and I am glad that I was able to try it out!
ByBellaLuvLeeon December 28, 2015 - This powder is so concentrated. I feel like it has improved my vision. I have been drinking it for some time now and its really helping. When you touch it, you can see so much pigmentation. I must have taken SO many berries to make this!!! If you put a small amount, it will taste delicious. You only need very little because it is so concentrated. I will be purchasing another one!!!
ByLaura Clairmonton December 28, 2015 - I really like this bilberry powder. It is easy to add to multiple foods, baked goods and beverages. I added some to my blueberry muffins and it gave them a great kick and them so much more delicious than usual. Since we received this can, we have added some to yogurt, smoothies, cakes and sprinkled some on granola. This just makes food taste better. I am thinking I might add some when I bake my macaroons. It comes in a small but decent sized can. You really don't need to add a whole lot to anything a sprinkle seems to sufficient. I love that this has antioxidants, I have been trying to add more into my family's diet and this is a good way to sneak it in and keep us healthy
ByWmon December 28, 2015 - Totally delicious! I add it with my tea and it gives it a blueberry taste! I have noticed that it has helped to prevent constipation. Also, it gets rid of toxins that have built up, so I found in helped in weight loss! My skin looks more radiant and glowing! It's helped to clear up my skin as well
ByBrieon December 30, 2015 - Eye issues run in my family on both sides, so I recently had been reading about billberry and it's benefit to eye health and really wanted to start incorporating it into my routine. I've been adding it to my morning berry smoothie and the fine powder blends perfectly and tastes good. I don't have the best vision and have had glasses since the 4th grade, with a prescription that gets worse almost every year. So I look forward to using this for a while and seeing if there's any difference, especially in my night vision. Because it's awful. I'll update my review in a month or two hopefully with good news
